CONSTRUCTION SAFETY

CONSTRUCTION SAFETY

Construction is by definition a dangerous industry.

Workers make extensive use of sharp, powerful tools and caustic chemicals. They lift heavy items and equipment while working at dizzying heights, it’s very common.

Of course every employer has the responsibility to provide a workplace environment that is free from recognized hazards.Without adequate safety and health policies in place, jobsite injuries are inevitable. One of the most important tools we provide our employees with; is office/class training together with on-the-job practice, to prevent work-place injuries.

We believe that health and safety is a basic management responsibility and should be treated as a normal part of our managerial work by maintaining a safety-first culture and by employing the best international safety standards and practices we strive to achieve MG goals for continuous improvement in human safety, into all our projects.

We are committed to the following issues for all our jobsites safety:

PRECAUTION STAGES

  1. PRECONSTRUTION STAGE
Each construction site has its own unique and recognized safety challenges. Building a single home have fewer risks than large commercial building sites.
MG modifies accordingly all safety precautions to the site by doing an assessment of the risks…

  2. DESIGNATE RESTRICTED  AREAS
Our project managers designate all restricted areas for public and put colored tapes, fences and metal panels with clear and easy to understand signage...
  3. VISIBLE SIGNAGE
Work areas, stairs and passageways are always kept free from garbage, scrap lumber or accumulated materials during construction…
  4. FALL
Falls from heights is the greatest hazard in construction. Erecting a barrier along the edge of a roof or setting up a net below a roof line to catch people who might fall is a MUST for MG..
  5. QUALIFIED OPERATOS
We evaluate them for damage and take them out of service with slightest mal function. All machines are properly inspected before use…

  6. PERSONAL EQIPMENT
All staff and workers are properly supplied with personal safety equipment before entering the work place...
